MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Assalamualaikum and Salam Sejahtera everyone.
Teaching is not an easy things to do. I’m realize that my journey to become a teacher had thought me a lot of new things. I want to be a teacher because it motivate me every single days to become a better person and to teach students to reach the better future. Teachers are one of the reasons for someone’s success. So, my life will become more meaningful and yet challenging to become a good teacher in the future.
My teaching Philosophy is I want to create a comfortable learning environment that all level of students involve. This is because, every students have different kind of ability, academic achievement and skills. I believe every student have their own ‘unique’ and I should use different kind of ways to teach and guide them so my students will not miss out the lessons. In this 21st centuary I guess students more expert with technology and almost all of them have smartphones, tablets and so on. They could learn by using google classroom, zoom, kahoot, padlet and more. I wil give them some tasks and ask them to get information as many as possible. So, they can share their knowledge, homeworks, doing group disscusions that others student could join and get the same information. Learning from this technology facilities is one of a good ways that students could improve their cognitivist and constructivist. Besides, I will remind students to always make an effort to get knowledge because they are lucky enough to live the world with so many facilities provided.
Next, I thinks student’s learn best from what they see and what they experienced. In Geography subject, student could get more knowledge by doing field work. For examples, they were given a research task about the environmental pollution. So, they will get more information by interview people and take photos regarding the pollution that comes from economic activities such as construction, transportation, business and so on at the research place. This will make them have a connection with the environment and got knowledge by themselves.
Overall, teaching is not only about academic but manners, self love, common sense, and developing students to reach their own potential. I hope I could make it and become a good teacher.
