TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Hello, I am the future teacher of your children. I'm pretty sure everyone has aspirations since childhood, so do I. My ambition is to become a teacher has never changed since I was young. I realize that being a teacher in nowadays is not easy because teachers have to face many obstacles and challenges. I went through many challenges and obstacles before becoming a future teacher.

Each student has a different learning ability. There are some students who fast learner and slow learner. Therefore, teachers need to understand every student in the classroom. Teachers need to do a variety of learning activities so that the learning and teaching process can give benefit to every student. For example teachers can use formulas or music to remember facts, create activities in groups such as forums or projects, teachers can integrate existing knowledge into the lessons to be learned, teachers can also provide positive reinforcement such as rewards and spells and negative reinforcement such as punishment to prevent students from repeating their actions.

Furthermore, nowadays teachers need to master ICT because the usage of ICT in the classroom will be more interesting for students to learn something. Teachers can let their students to watch videos related to the topic that they are going to learn before they begin teaching in the classroom. Teachers can also teach via online. As an example, the Covid-19 issue have led to obstruction of teaching and learning. Currently, teachers need to be proficient in ICT to implement online teaching and learning so that students do not miss out on the lessons.
