THIS COURSE AIMS TO DEVELOP WITHIN STUDENTS, THE FUNDAMENTAL BUSINESS INFORMATION KNOWLEDGE, AND ITS APPLICATION TOWARDS CREATING, ENABLING, AND PRESERVING BUSINESS VALUE. SPECIFICALLY, IT AIMS TO DEVELOP AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRIMARY ENABLER FOR BETTER BUSINESS ANALYTICS PROCESSES, WHICH INCLUDES AN IN-DEPTH AWARENESS OF INFORMATION TYPE AND ACCESSIBILITY WITHIN A BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT. AREAS OF STUDY INCLUDE AN INTRODUCTION TO ERP SYSTEMS, BUSINESS PROCESS MAPPING, ERP IMPLEMENTATION CASE STUDIES, ERP MODULES (SCM AND CRM) AND ERP SYSTEMS AND BUSINESS ANALYTICS LINKAGES (FOUR ANALYTICAL INSIGHTS).
