About Me

Assalamualaikum and Hi everyone!

I'm Shahril, a lecturer from the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medical Sciences, Health Campus, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). My journey started after my bachelor's degree graduation in 2006 at Universiti Malaya. After graduating, I've been trained as a house officer, and later as a medical officer at Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, Kota Bharu. After 3 years of experience in a district clinic, I decided to pursue my Master's Degree at USM (School of Medical Sciences, MMed in Psychiatry). I did my gazettement training as a trainee psychiatrist in Hospital Dutchess of Kent, Sandakan for a year upon completing my Master's study. 

On 1 October 2019, I started my teaching journey at USM. It is good to be right back to where I begin!
