GMT409 Course Synopsis
Psychiatry in Phase II Year 4, is a 7-week course. The aim of the course is to enable the students to understand common problems in psychiatry. Clinical ethics issues in patient care will be addressed accordingly. Teaching activities comprise both theoretical and clinical learning which will be delivered via lectures, audiovisual sessions, problem-solving learning, clinic sessions, and case presentation. Each student will be supervised by a lecturer, who will monitor his/her progress via clinical attendance, logbook, and supervisor’s report. Students will be assessed through continuous assessment and end-of-course examinations.
Students are divided into several groups (refer to the list of students and the supervisor's name). Students are required to contact their supervisor should they have any problem related to their study during the posting.
Students shall see the lecture notes or activities related to their teachings, tutorials, quizzes, or any other academic resources via the USM elearning platform.
