Reason Doing Parttime Jobs

1) Earn Extra Pocket Money

Being a student usually means little or no money, but when you’re working part time, you no longer have to worry about being able to afford the basic essentials or relying on your parents or student funding to get by.

2) Learn To Manage Money

When i start making money of myself, i tend to become more cautious about how to spend hard-earned cash.

3) Gain Transferable Skills

A part-time job can help gain skills that a university or college degree won’t teach .

4)Become More Confident

Part time Job can help me come out of my shell and aid in growing my confidence.

5) Develop Interpersonal Skills

Through part-time work, i will learn how to talk to a variety of people from different walks of life, forcing to be sensitive to cultural differences in the workplace.

Student need working?

Money is very useful for people as it was used to buy almost everything we owned. For students who are teenagers that are often on shopping sprees, their needs for money are continuously growing. The money that was earned could also pay for the huge amounts that have to be paid for university or college. Furthermore, the homework and the courses will be harder and heavier in university or college than high school. Hence, having a part-time job will be a bigger problem with time in university or college. In other words, it is the best to have a part-time job in high school. Other than money, another important benefit gained from part-time job is the skills that are learned during the experience. Part-time job can simply be a practice for a future career. Furthermore, numerous skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership, time management and independent work can be developed. Therefore, it is a good idea to have a part-time job in high school as it provides the experiences and skills needed in the future career.
