The aim of the course is to introduce and provide training in research field of basic sciences under appropriate guidance from appointed supervisors. Students are expected to be involved in all aspects of scientific research which include the planning and construction of research proposal. They also need to carry out investigation starting from collecting data; assess and interpret the results including summarizing and presenting the data and results obtained from the research. Students are required to write their research work into a dissertation which will be examined by examiners appointed by the university.
