
This course delivers physiological concepts elaborating on all the major physiological systems in animals including the muscular, skeletal, circulatory, nervous, endocrine, digestive and, reproductive system, utilizing the concepts of comparative anatomy and functional approaches.
The course aims to:
1) Explain and apply the knowledge of animal physiology.
2) Conduct practical evaluations in a laboratory setting for animal physiology studies.
3) Teach students to solve problems related to animal physiology creatively and critically.
4) Teach students to communicate information on animal physiology to the general public as well as stakeholders in the field of animal biology.
