This course introduces students to the management of patients from the aspect of medical-surgical nursing related to gastrointestinal and renal/urology systems disorders. It incorporates nurse-patient partnerships with a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure healthy lives and promote the well-being of patients and their families. This course will use student-centred teaching and learning approaches: lectures, small group discussions, e-learning and practical sessions. Students will be assessed through assignments, presentations, practical training, and final examinations.
