This course explains mechanisms of reactions in synthesis of small molecules/drugs and the basic of spectrometer (UV, IR, NMR, MS) in structural identification of simple organic compounds/drugs. This course also discusses concept of acidic and basic drug such as pH, pKa, buffer solution, drug ionisation, and chemical stability of drug.
