This course is intended to familiarize candidates with the appropriate network of concepts to encourage deeper thinking about all aspects of the process of drafting the curriculum. It will provide exposure to a variety of perspectives and opinions held on important issues and problems in curriculum efforts. Course content includes definitions and concepts related to the curriculum and its implications for the process of drafting the curriculum; various curriculum orientations; design and curriculum focus; and curriculum development and evaluation.
