GENERAL PRACTICAL CHEMISTRY I
This course aims to familiarize the first-year degree students with the essential skills and techniques of general chemistry.
Course Objective (CO)
To introduce fundamental laboratory techniques such as observation, data collection, data analysis and interpretation.
To promote safe working regulations in the laboratory.
To demonstrate good laboratory practice and develop skills.
Course Learning Outcome (CLO)
Demonstrating proficiency in various experimental techniques for analytical chemistry and inorganic chemistry.
Analyzing experimental data in the field of analytical chemistry and inorganic chemistry scientifically.
Reporting the experimental results properly through scientific reports.
Practicing ethical values in a professional manner.
Course Assessment
50% - 10 Lab Reports (6 full reports & 4 report sheets)
20% - Experimental Techniques
30% - Practical Test
