The course introduces students to basic knowledge and application of information & communication technology (ICT) in health domains. It covers fundamentals of computer system, communication, data management and processing, health informatics and ICT issues. The course also trains students to enhance their personal, digital and numeracy skills. The course will be taught using lecture, guided practical video, and group discussions via face-to-face and online using multiple online learning platforms. Students will be assessed through tests, performance-based project and hands-on test. Integrating knowledge, and data analytical tools, and artificial intelligent in creative and innovative projects will transform student ICT know-how for better quality of life and their career development in future.
