KURSUS INI MEMBERI PELUANG KEPADA PELAJAR UNTUK MENIMBA PENGALAMAN BEKERJA DALAM SEKTOR INDUSTRI KREATIF . KETIKA LATIHAN INI BERLANGSUNG, PELAJAR PERLU MENYESUAIKAN DIRI DENGAN SUASANA PEKERJAAN YANG BARU DAN PERLU MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN DAN KEBOLEHAN TEKNIKAL SERTA KONSEPTUAL SECARA PROAKTIF DI BAWAH BIMBINGAN SESEBUAH SYARIKAT ATAU PAKAR/PROFESIONAL DARIPADA INDUSTRI REKA BENTUK GRAFIK. PADA AKHIR LATIHAN INI, PELAJAR DAPAT MEMAHAMI KEPERLUAN DAN STANDARD INDUSTRI DAN MEMPERSIAPKAN DIRI UNTUK ALAM KERJAYA SEBENAR SELEPAS TAMAT PENGAJIAN.

THIS COURSE EQUIPS STUDENTS WITH THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS IN PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION COVERING CONCEPTS, PROCESS AND WORK BOTH AS AN INDIVIDUAL AND WITHIN A GROUP ENVIRONMENT. THIS COURSE ENABLES STUDENTS TO DEVELOP THEIR CONCEPTUAL AND RESEARCH SKILLS IN ACHIEVING TECHNICAL AND CREATIVE OUTCOMES, AND TO OBTAIN ESSENTIAL SKILLS IN MANAGING TIME AND RESOURCES OF THEIR DESIGN PROJECTS

THIS COURSE ENABLES STUDENTS TO EXPLORE THE VARIOUS THEORIES AND TECHNIQUES OF USING THE ARTS AS A THERAPEUTIC DEVICE/TOOL. STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO WORK WITH COMMUNITIES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS OR COMMUNITIES FACING PRESSURE OR TRAUMA FOR THE PERIOD OF THE COURSE. DURING THE INTERACTION WITH COMMUNITY, STUDENTS USE ARTS AS A MEDIUM TO ENABLE PARTICIPANTS TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES, ENHANCE THEIR WELL-BEING AND TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE.

This course aims to introduce hyperautomation under the Makers@USM program to develop students' STEM skills in line with the industrial revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) through creative exploration of new concepts and ideas in the process of finding 'outside the box' solutions to produce projects that include automation and artificial intelligence elements. Students will be exposed to basic practical skills such as robotic process automation, deep learning, machine learning and artificial intelligence project management in theoretical and practical forms. Group work assignments and capstone projects to produce mini projects in hyperautomation will be practiced in this course to foster STEM skills, leadership, a spirit of unity and entrepreneurship through joint projects involving industry and the community. This course emphasises the sustainable development goals of SDG9: industry, innovation and infrastructure.

Sinopsis Kursus:

Kursus ini bertujuan memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar mengenai sukan woodball. Penekanan diberi dalam aspek kemahiran asas permainan, peraturan, latihan kekuatan dan pemantapan fizikal, strategi dan pengetahuan kecederaan dalam sukan. Elemen kelestarian juga diberi penekanan melalui penerapan aspek etika dan profesional, keselamatan sukan dan kepentingan kesihatan sepanjang hayat untuk gaya hidup sihat. Tugasan secara berkumpulan dipraktikkan dalam kursus ini untuk memupuk kemahiran kepimpinan dan semangat perpaduan. Pada akhir kursus, pelajar akan melibatkan diri dalam program libat sama komuniti-universiti (UCE) berkaitan kemahiran yang diperoleh. Pelajar akan dinilai melalui tugasan dan ujian praktikal.

This course aims to expose students to the sport of woodball. Emphasis will be on the basic skills of the game, rules, physical strength and conditioning training, strategy and knowledge of sports injury. Elements of sustainability are also emphasised in aspects of professional ethics, sports safety and important of lifelong health for healthy lifestyle. Group assignment will be practiced in this course to foster leadership skills and spirit of unity. At the end of the course, students will participate in the university-community engagement (UCE) program related to skills acquired. Course assessment will be informed of assignments and practical tests.
