Kursus ini menekankan aspek-aspek kemahiran persepsi dan praktikal asas dalam memahami sifat dan ruang 3 dimensi dalam seni visual. Kursus ini meliputi unsur kajian binaan dan penyiasatan visual terhadap sifat ruang 3 dimensi tersebut. Elemen-elemen dan prinsip-prinsip seni visual akan menjadi teras kepada aspek kajian dan penyiasatan tersebut.
This course focuses on molding techniques and the forms reproduction in sculpture making. Besides techniques, concept and the history of sculpture in Southeast Asia will also be discussed such as the concept of forms and symbols in Malay woodcarvings and architecture, idol carvings and Indo-China metalwork.
