Topics discussed are states of matter and physicochemical properties of each state and the clinical implications, drug solubility and distribution phenomenon, diffusion, dissolution, colligative properties, ideal and real solutions, buffered and isotonic solutions, drug ionization, complexation and interfacial phenomena at liquids and solid surfaces.
