Kursus ini memperkenalkan pelajar kepada aplikasi kejuruteraan dan teknologi pemprosesan pelbagai jenis polimer. Pelajar meneroka sifat, pemprosesan dan aplikasi polimer termoset, termoplastik dan elastomer. Penekanan diberi kepada pemilihan bahan, penyelesaian masalah kejuruteraan dan pembangunan aplikasi berdasarkan prestasi bahan, termasuk isu alam sekitar berkaitan bahan polimer.
