📖 Sinopsis Kursus / Course Synopsis

Kursus ini merangkumi topik-topik seperti pengutuban, pemantulan dan penghantaran gelombang electromagnet di sempadan. Keaktifan optik. Kesan Kerr dan kesan Faraday, teori sebaran. Belauan. Lingkaran Cornu dan Kamiran Fresnel. Kepingan zon. Belauan Fresnel bagi pinggir lurus dan bukaan segiempat. Aplikasi Optik: laser, optik gentian, dan pengesanan cahaya.

This course consists of topics such as polarization, plane and circular polarization. Optical activity. Kerr effect and Faraday effect. Dispersion theory. Diffraction. Cornu spiral and Fresnel Integrals. Zone plates. Fresnel diffraction for straight edges and rectangular aperture. Application of optics: laser, fibre optics and light detection.
