Kursus merangkumi definisi Teknologi Bioproses, persamaan dan perbezaan dengan disiplin Kejuruteraan Bioproses dan Bioteknologi. Kursus menerangkan kewujudan disiplin Teknologi Bioproses, contoh produk bioproses dan pengetahuan asas sebagai ahli teknologi bioproses. Kepelbagaian reaktor, pemantauan dan pengukuran kinetik pertumbuhan, peringkat pemprosesan dan aplikasi. Pelajar diberi pendedahan mengenai bidang penyelidikan dalam Teknologi Bioproses.
The course covers the definition of Bioprocess Technology, its similarities and differences from Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology, and its role as a discipline. It introduces bioprocess products, fundamental knowledge for bioprocess technologists, reactor diversity, growth kinetics monitoring and measurement, processing stages, applications, and research areas in Bioprocess Technology.
