Kursus ini memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar mengenai parasit haiwan akuatik yang berkepentingan secara perubatan, veterinar dan ekonomi. Pelajar diajar untuk mengenal pasti morfologi, kitar hidup, gejala dan juga patogenesis akibat jangkitan kumpulan utama parasit terhadap haiwan akuatik. Pada akhir kursus, pelajar berpeluang untuk mengaplikasikan pengetahuan dan teori yang telah dipelajari.
