Kursus ini membincangkan biologi, kelakuan, ekologi dan kawalan serangga yang penting dari segi perubatan dan veterinar) dan serangga di bandar khususnya serangga yang penting di kawasan tropika. Peranan serangga dalam transmisi penyakit tropika juga akan dibincangkan. Hubungkait antara serangga perubatan dan bandar terhadap hidup manusia akan dibincangkan.
This course discusses the biology, behaviour, ecology, and management of medically- and veterinary-important insects and urban insects, especially those that are important in the tropics. The role of insects in the transmission of tropical diseases will be discussed.
The relationship between medical and urban insects on human life will be discussed.
