Kursus ini akan melihat kepada kerangka sosiologi untuk memahami ketaksamaan sosial dalam masyarakat kita dan mengapakah ketaksamaan sosial wujud. Kursus ini juga akan melihat kepada hubungan resiprokal dalam isu gender, etnik dan kelas ke atas kewujudan ketaksamaan sosial. Beberapa teori sosial yang mengupas persoalan ketaksamaan juga akan diberikan tumpuan.
This course provides sociological framework to understand social inequality in our society and why does social inequality exist. This course will also focus on the reciprocal relationship between gender, ethnicity and class issues which forms social inequality. The substantive topics in this course will also include a few social theories to explore further social inequality questions.
