Kursus ini bertujuan membolehkan anda berfikiran secara sosiologikal tentang ehidupan harian. Kehidupan harian ini boleh difahami dengan membuatkan kebiasaan harian menjadi ganjil. Kursus ini secara umum memperkenalkan pelajar kepada beberapa teori interpretif kehidupan harian seperti simbolik interaksionisme dan ethnometodologi.. Berdasarkan teori ini topik substantif seperti rumah, masa, emosi, makan dan minum, beli-belah, masa lapang dan lain-lain dibincangkan dalam kursus ini.
This course aims to make you think sociologically about everyday life, by making the familiar strange. This course will introduce students to some interpretivsits theories of everyday life, such as symbolic interactionism and ethnomethodology. Based on these theories, substantive topics such as home, time, emotion, eating and drinking, shopping, leiture, health and illness will be discussed in this course.
