Kursus ini terbahagi kepada dua bahagian; kuliah bagi topik-topik analisis berangka dan sesi makmal. Sesi makmal bertujuan memberi peluang kepada pelajar untuk bereksperimen dan mengkaji teknik-teknik bagi masalah matematik yang timbul semasa kuliah. Penekanan diberi kepada penggunaan fungsi bina-dalam perisian, beserta kekuatan dan kelemahannya.
The course is split into two parts; the lectures on numerical analysis topics and the laboratory sessions. The laboratory sessions allow students to experiment with and investigate techniques to solve mathematical problems arising from the lectures. Emphasis will be on built-in functions of the software, together with their strengths and weaknesses.
