My Philosophy

My Teaching Philosophy

I strongly believe that a university is a place where the love of seeking knowledge always booming, and the nourishment or our body and minds toward knowledge never stop. The community within this noble place value and respect the diversity and inclusiveness of USM in particular. In education, interaction, love, the affection are things that technology can’t replace. Learning is a process of connecting random dots so that it becomes a clear image. Learning is about lifelong, life-wide, life-deep applications. Teaching and learning always come together, and I believe in both passive and active learning. I may teach, but I also learned from students, colleagues, parents, and the community. This is where I learn new strategies, new ideas, and new philosophies. Over time, my educational philosophy may change which means I have broadened the horizon in evaluating teaching and learning. That means, I learned new things and am always ready to explore more!
