This course introduces students to the basics of epidemiology, research methodology and biostatistics in nursing aimed at ensuring healthy lives and promote wellbeing of patient and community. This course will use a student‐centered teaching and learning approach: lectures, discussions, tutorials and e‐learning. Students will be assessed through tests, project paper, assignments and presentations.
The course outcome are:
1.Elaborate basic concept of epidemiology, research methodology and biostatistics in nursing
2.Analyse using scientific thinking skills in problem solving related to epidemiology, research methodology and biostatistic in nursing.
