This course will introduce students with important skills for a dietitian such as communication, nutrition focused
physical examination, nutritional status assessing screening tools, proper documentation, as well as dietetics
clinical case report writing and presentation skills. The course will also emphasize evidence-based practice,
enteral and parenteral nutrition for providing good quality nutritional intervention for patients. This course will
be assessed through test, assignments and presentation. This course has a final examination which will be
conducted at the end of semester.
