This course covers an introduction to parasitology topics which include parasites from the group of protozoa, phyla Platyhelminthes, Nematoda, Acanthocephala, and Arthropoda.
Adaptations, transmission, and pathology of the infection will be discussed.
Students will be exposed to several identification techniques.
