This course deliberates into economic theories applicable in health and medical services. It emphasizes on the importance of economic evaluationin the planning and formulation of health policy and in the utilization of health technology and pharmaceutical. The purpose of this course is to extend students’ understanding of economic theory and empirical research in key areas of health economics and enable students to leverage that knowledge and apply it to timely issues in health policy and management.
