This course emphasizes the diversity of perceptions and paradigms in women's health. Students will be exposed to a more holistic approach not limited to maternal and child care only. Various factors that influence the health status of women, such as economy, politics, religion and culture, will be examined. This course will be taught via lectures, discussion and multimedia. Students will be assessed through presentations, assignment, media review and test.
