This course introduces students to the concept of transfusion science and blood banking. It covers blood group, blood component, pretransfusion testing, laboratory management and complication of blood transfusion. The course will be conducted via lecture, practical and seminar. The students will be evaluated through test, OSPE (practical tests), presentation and final examination.
