Welcome to the Endocrine System Course (GMT202).

This course runs for 6 weeks starting from 5 May 2024 -  13 June 2024.

The course provides topics on endocrinology and metabolism, including human embryology and development of the endocrine system, basic histology and pathology of the endocrine system, biochemical processes involving lipid metabolism and ketone bodies metabolism. These objectives will be achieved through multiple methods of teaching and learning such as lectures, guided self-learning (GSL), practical hands-on sessions in the Multidisciplinary laboratories (MDL) and Skill Lab, and problem-based learning (PBL) in the form of small group discussion (SGD).
