Bidang-bidang yang dikaji termasuk artifaks, aktiviti-aktiviti dalam komuniti dan keahlian kumpulan ahli sains. Turut dibincangkan ialah isu-isu tentang geran penyelidikan, penerbitan dan latihan ahli sains baru. Dalam perbincangan topik-topik di atas, peranan budaya akan diterokai. Implikasi terhadap pendidikan sains di sekolah juga dipertimbangkan.
