This course aims to discuss on the importance of public policy as a field of public administration study. The first part of this course exposes the concepts and theoretical of public policy with which to understand the policy-making and its process. Students will be given the opportunity to debate and critically assess the development and process of public policy. Next, students need to offer any suggestions and ideas to improve the policy. Overall, this course is not only designed to deepen the student’s understanding of the dynamics of policy-making in the public sector but also to develop their critical and creative thinking skills as well as to acquire the skills to work and perform within a team environment.
